About Lovelady Park
Situation: A municipality in Long Island was developing a new public park and needed to raise over $500,000 to fund its creation, while building community awareness and excitement around the project. As program manager, creative director, and strategist, I owned every aspect of this project.
Task: I was responsible for developing the full branding and fundraising program to help the municipality reach its ambitious funding goals and ensure residents were engaged and informed. This included designing a brochure to be mailed to 1,000 residents, as well as a fully functional website that can handle $200,000+ donations in a single transaction.
Action: I created a cohesive visual identity and messaging system for the park, designed and launched a fully functional website to drive online donations, produced a professionally crafted fundraising brochure mailed directly to residents, and developed a custom mail-in donation form to make offline giving accessible. The website is integrated with Stripe in order to process donations, and is built on Cargo's website platform.
Result: This comprehensive campaign is helping the municipality secure over $500,000 in funding, building strong community buy-in and ensuring the park’s development can move forward as a meaningful, shared space for recreation and connection.
